Set in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park between Leyburn and Hawes this spacious modern converted farm house enjoys extensive views over the Dale from the rear of the property - The accommodation is maintained to a 4 star standard and is extremely well presented with quality fixtures and furnishings of a high standard - A solid fuel stove creates a warm ambience for families, couples or a group of friends whilst chilling in the smaller of the two lounges, with oil fired central heating throughout the property to ensure a cosy and comfortable atmosphere is maintained throughout your stay
There is a private and secure shared lawned garden at the rear of the property for relaxing and enjoying the views over Wensleydale or for al-fresco dining on those warmer evenings – BBQ and Garden Furniture all being part of the package - For the more adventurous walks or cycling start directly from the door across the Dale and beyond and for those looking for a more relaxing break the location proves an ideal mid-point base for exploring the Dales by car
West Witton enjoys the benefit of a traditional Village Shop with Tea Rooms, award winning pub, the Fox & Hounds, serving real ales and Dales grub whilst boasting the regions renowned award winning Wensleydale Heifer Fish Restaurant and weekly visits from the mobile Fish & Chip van to complete the self-catering package
Local attractions include Aysgarth Falls, location for the Kevin Costner Robin Hood movie, Bolton Castle recently featured on TV in 'The Dales' fronted by Ed Edmundson and the Wensleydale Railway heritage line running from Redmire to Leeming Bar with the occasional steam train rattling the rails!
